The Brand List page displays all the brands that are currently available in your OneCart system. It is an essential part of setting up your product inventory, as associating each product with a brand helps in maintaining consistency and ease of search.

Adding a New Brand

To populate your brand list with brands relevant to your inventory, you can easily add new entries.

Steps to Add a Brand:

  1. Navigate to the Brand List page from the OneCart admin menu.
  2. Click on the Add New Brand button.
  3. Enter the Brand Name in the provided text field.
  4. Click Save to add the brand to your list.

Tips:

  • Choose clear and recognizable brand names to help with product identification.
  • Avoid duplicate brand names for better inventory management.

Editing or Deleting a Brand

You may need to update or remove a brand from your list. Here’s how:

To Edit a Brand:

  1. Click the Edit button under the Actions column next to the brand you want to modify.
  2. Update the brand name as needed.
  3. Click Save to apply your changes.

To Delete a Brand:

  1. Click the Delete button under the Actions column next to the brand you wish to remove.
  2. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Be cautious, as this action cannot be undone.

Important Notes:

  • Consistency: Keep your brand names consistent and correctly spelled to avoid confusion in your inventory.
  • No Duplicates: Ensure there are no duplicate entries, as this can cause issues when associating products with brands.
